Statement Regarding Data Processing For Purpose Of Using Web-Portal (hereinafter "Statement") relates to Kaspersky Password Manager for Windows (hereinafter "Software").
All terms used in this Statement have the same meaning defined in the End User License Agreement (EULA) under the clause "Definitions".
Please carefully read the terms of this Statement, as well as all documents referred to in this Statement, before accepting it. If the Software is used within a legal entity or on the Computer used by several individuals, You must ensure that they have understood and accepted the conditions of this Statement before data processing begins.
Data Protection and Processing
The Rightholder handles the data it receives from the End User under this Statement in accordance with the Rightholder’s Privacy Policy published at: https://www.kaspersky.com/Products-and-Services-Privacy-Policy.
Purposes of Data Processing
The Web-Portal helps You remotely manage Your acquired licenses and the protection of your Computer, as well as provide safe storage of Your account information (logins and passwords), data about Your bank cards, addresses, notes, documents, and other important information during use of the Computer. During Your use of this functionality, the Rightholder receives from Your Computer and processes information about the Software, the acquired license, information about the Computer in accordance with this Statement.
Processed Data
Certain data which is processed under this Statement could be considered personal data according to laws of some countries. With Your consent, the following data will be automatically sent on a regular basis to the Rightholder under this Statement:
Version of the installed software; version of the operating system installed on the user’s computer; Software ID derived from the license; user ID issued after successful user authentication on My Kaspersky; protocol ID; ID of the KSN service accessed by the Software; device ID; computer name on the network (domain name); one-time password for device registration on My Kaspersky; device type; unique User ID in rightholder’s systems; unique ID of the device on the My Kaspersky website; the Software user email address; Software activation code; Software localization; ID of the password database account; account type (user account, note, address, bank card, document); encrypted contents of the account; encrypted compressed file; master password hash; password database version; database encryption parameters; authentication data of the application in Kaspersky Lab services.
The list of entry types and contents provided to the password database may vary in different Software versions, according to the User guide for the particular version. These differences do not stop the password database from being shared by other compatible versions of Software.
Third-Party Information Systems
The Rightholder uses third-party information systems to process data. Their data processing is governed by the privacy statements of such third-party information systems. The following are the third-party information systems that the Rightholder uses and the data they process:
AWS
During the use of the Software, the following data will be sent to AWS automatically and on a regular basis in order to achieve the declared purpose:
Data is forwarded to AWS over a secure channel. Information about how data is processed in AWS is published at https://aws.amazon.com/privacy/.
The Rightholder is not responsible for the processing of data when You use the Third-Party services. By using the Software to access and/or use third-party services, you are responsible for acquainting yourself with the data processing rules and procedures described in the privacy policy of the provider of the Third-Party services.
Your Choice to Participate
It is entirely Your choice to automatically send data to the Rightholder on a regular basis under this Statement. You can withdraw Your consent at any time by disconnecting Your Software from the Web-Portal as described in the User Manual.
